The type of lucid dreaming that worked for me was similar to the reality check:
In my dream there was snow, but I relized it wasn't cold...so in the dream I thought about it (which was really hard to remember) and relized that it wasn't snow, but the blanket. Then I woke up.

just last night, i had a dream and I spotted a guy from one of the How to have a lucid dream videos. I was like, "hey, thats that guy from the lucid dream video..." after doing some other stuff, and realised, "wait a minute, if i recognized that guy, why wouldnt i suddenly realize i was dreaming?"
then I got angry because I didnt get a lucid dream when i should have since i recognized the guy. I think this might be a challenge for me.

if i had a lucid dream id probably be so excited the first few id just wake up. after that though i would probably face my greatest subconscious fears and be totally aware that i was just dreaming but still not know what the hell to do haha.
its really weird, in my dream last night i was actually wishing i could lucid dream but i didnt realize this until i woke up in the morning and then im like eh i really do wanna learn to lucid dream!
